A wonderful pattern - a home
God's work is done through the principle of incarnation -e.g. He carries out His economy through a group of His chosen ones who love Him, follow the vision of the age and are exercised to be one with Him.
God's way is so high that often times a lot of us feel short in ourselves when practicing the new way in a daily manner. We're in the process of transformation. We often go through high and low. Sometimes we're short of vision, the other times short of practices. But the triune God is flowing! The new way is the only way that accomplishes God's purpose, so all of us must enter into it with no reasonings or excuses. Are we going to wrestle with God?
Praise the Lord for the homes! The homes are where the treasures are buried. The homes are the focal point of God ordained way by which God fulfills His eternal purpose through begetting, shepherding, perfecting and building. Many homes have been open for the practical church life and many blessings have been brought to the church this way. There's a wonderful pattern in our locality: a home that has been used by the Lord consistantly for many years.
Now an older couple of 70+ years of age, their love and consecration to the high purpose is ever fervent and fresh. Close to 40 years ago, this family saw the vision and bore the burden to migrate here together with a few other families to raise up the lampstand in our locality. Through the laboring in love, now the church here has 1000 plus saints with many remaining fruits from the campuses here.
This home has been open to the church since the beginning when they moved here. At first when the church was small in size, the whole church went to their home to visit, to meet and to pray. This has not stopped almost 40 years later. Praise the Lord!
Many students have found this home to be their own and have grown in this home both humanly and spiritually. This home is open for college and high school students, for some they not only meet there but also live there. Even at the moment, there are two college students (from S Korea), one high schooler (from Taiwan) and a visiting couple (from S. Korea) are staying at their home. Even dozens of saints have been to their home last week alone!
Imagine the saints who have been shepherded at this home, the new ones have been brought to the Lord through this home. What has this one home accomplished by being consistent and absolute for God's purpose! The Lord right now is raising up the homes for mutual sheperding and for building up the Body of Christ to prepare for the bride and hasten the Lord's return.
Praise the Lord for the church life practically - it affords us a foretaste to the coming kingdom life. There are many wonderful patterns we have seen and we can follow the patterns and be a pattern to the forth-coming ones. When more homes practice the God-man living and shepherding the church, surely there'll be a great revival in the church.
